Morgan ma Belle has existed as a blog in two iterations.
- A blog just because called Lipstick Stain Culture because "blogging is the thing to do." I was excited to design a website and write some posts but I didn't have a true direction or purpose. A lot of those original posts have since been archived.
- A portfolio of sorts called Morgan ma Belle. I started to pursue modeling more seriously when we moved from Texas and needed a place to share photos from shoots, credit photographers, and talk about my experiences.
I'd now like to head the third direction. Yes, Morgan ma Belle is not just a portfolio website; it's closer to a lifestyle blog. But it isn't niche, it isn't specific, and it isn't speaking to a truly devoted audience.
Most of my everyday life is spent online. At work, I'm a project manager and design lead and social media specialist for many clients. During the evenings and on the weekends I am giving 100% to our church by keeping the website up-to-date, running social media, and fellowshipping with some of the best friends I've ever had. That is the direction I want to pursue.
I want to encourage young women to wait on God's timing, to create strong relationships with godly women around them, and to pursue Jesus Christ with all their hearts. I want to show that you can be in the world and not of the world. That you can enjoy life and freedom because we have all been forgiven.
No, Morgan ma Belle is not about to become a "Jesus blog" (though I hope He's been there in every post and every photo because that's the life I lead and love). Morgan ma Belle is only about to become more real and representative of my life.
Will you join me in this?
