Being a winter bride is basically the best! From planning my own December wedding (in SIX weeks!) to participating in themed styled shoots year-round, there's just something magical and unique about planning to say your I-Dos in the winter. Anastacia McCarthy Bellagambii, Austin wedding photographer and owner of Wild Stag Photography has this to say about winter weddings: "I feel that winter weddings and even bridal sessions have the added benefit of magic that the other seasons just can’t provide. Just like any other time of th…
Our engagement photos are in! Wait... haven't y'all been married for a few years now, you ask? Yes, we have - for 4 years last Friday to be exact! But when Gricelda's Photography asked me to model for her new style guide with my handsome hubby and our pup, I couldn't say no! So this is an engagement session for her style guide and a 4th anniversary photoshoot for us (and hello, Christmas cards 🎄). Plus, when you plan a wedding in 6 weeks (you can read more about that crazy process here ), some things get knocked off the…
Halloween and Thanksgiving have been dubbed the "fallidays" by my holiday-loving husband. He loves seeing our apartment decked out and decorated for every holiday-- yes, every holiday -- and I'm glad he leaves that decorating for me. I had an early go of it this year when we had out-of-town guests come to sight-see in Austin for the day at the beginning of October, so I hastily put together a no-fuss fall table setting and whipped up some easy hors 'oeuvres that would delight any palate. Today I'm sharing some of …
We’ve all done it. Walked out of a presentation or a meeting or a group brainstorm and thought “I couldn’t have done that like she did.” And before you say, “great, another blog post telling me to just. stop. comparing. myself.” Please hear me out because girl, I’ve been there, too! Seeking, searching, feeling constantly exhausted from trying, and wondering ‘is this what success is supposed to feel like?’
Hermione hair, don't care because my worth is found in more than my looks! That may be an odd thing for a model to say b/c - no surprise! - my image is a big part of what I love to do. Here's what the good book says about our design, regardless of how we feel or what others say: "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." ~ Ephesians 2:10 But that's not all! Read on for my favorite encouraging bible verses about my worth to Go…
Yesterday was October 15. Also known as National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. I lit a candle in memory of our Baby P and in honor of all little ones that have a special place in their parents' hearts. Maybe that candle was lit for one of your favorite "what ifs," too. If you have experienced pregnancy loss, you are not alone. Don't hide your grief, don't act like nothing has happened. Actively reach out for help and support and accept kindness. And remember, it’s okay to not be okay.

Have you ever been on the hunt for that perfect inspirational quote to set as your phone wallpaper or maybe even to share on your Instagram stories? I've seen a ton of great engagement & received the sweetest messages when I've shared any of my encouragement stories on Instagram, so I thought why not make it even easier to reach more people who just might need to hear what the Lord has to say about them.
Now submitting my application for bridesmaid of the year! 26 years old and I still haven't been a bridesmaid, but I got in some good practice at my last styled shoot in downtown Austin. Here are 5 Things You Should Do if You're a Bridesmaid - and 1 You Shouldn't!
In a quiet little town just southwest of Austin, a team of models, photographers, stylists, and a jewelry designer came together to create the ultimate boho lifestyle shoot to showcase K.Kennedy Jewelry's newest jewelry line: Natural Stone Collection.
