This baby already has two fashion week’s in two separate states under his belt – and he just turned 7-months-old! You’ll remember he also attended Austin Fashion Week in November 2023 with me. You’ll want to scroll all the way down for some cute baby at fashion week photos.
Read on – and listen to the night’s soundtrack – for more KCFW designer collection recaps from night 2 of their 24th season!

Did you read my Wednesday Night show recap? You can do so here.
YetLuxxe
We are ready for the resort with Yet Luxxe’s Spring/Summer ’24 collection Water Signs. True to its name, this collection flowed from model to model in shades of soft blue, earthy greens, and summery yellow, adorned with natural braided rope accessories. The models even carried their shoes, looking the definition of chic relaxation as they sauntered down the catwalk. Did you catch the subtle (and not so subtle nods) to certain astrological signs?

House of Miri
Feminine, flirty, form-fitting and not afraid of color. House of Miri showed a beautiful and sparkly collection of party dresses and evening gowns.
Hina Adnan Handmade
Hand-painted with KC pop art and Urdu calligraphy, these jackets, handbags, and luggage by Hina Adnan were ready to leave the runway and head home with some KC locals!

Peach Carr
Drawing from her 60’s and 70’s childhood, Project Runway All Star Peach Carr finds inspiration for her designs from the music, art, and vibe of those eras. She describes her ideal buyer “someone who’s between Cameron Diaz and Driving Miss Daisy.” Her KCFW collection featured exaggerated houndstooth in its traditional black and white with pops of hot pink that Barbie would be proud to wear.

Regal Status
Regal Status’ newest collection celebrated strength and feminity with designer Princess Hopkins’ muted color palette and subtle textures.

KCFW FashionFit
KCFW is no newcomer to merchandise — and this former Fashion Week model has her fair share of KCFW merchandise from former seasons – but this season they revealed their new fitness-focused apparel that was so relevant with one of their new fashion week events, puppy yoga!

Toree Goetz
The designer of 2023’s pistachio dress is back! Soft and romantic fabrics contrast with chainmail-esque accessories and strutural corsets in this designers third collection since the TG brand launch in 2023.

Duane Topping
I’ve been a fan since I walked for Duane Topping in 2019, and Duane continues to expand and explore the confluence of fashion and technology with each subsequent collection. Last spring, he didn’t put models on the KCFW runway at Union Station; instead, he set up a screen in the vendors’ market to display his digital runway collection. “More Than A Label” is more than a tagline for this designer, it’s his true ethos.
