This season for Austin Fashion Week, I attended only the Saturday shows. Since having baby number 2 last fall, he has attended more fashion shows than anyone else I know under the age of 1! But it does require a lot of planning to have a baby join me at a show or to be away from him for extended lengths of time, so I limited attendance to one day only this season.

On Saturday, there were three runway shows:

• 1. Discover – featured high school student designers from Round Rock, TX and emerging designers
• 2. Incubate – designers in the current ACCFI cohort
• 3. Ode to the OGs – designers that have shown collections in Austin Fashion Week over the last 15 years

I used my Sony a6000 and my Samsung Galaxy S23 to capture a variety of images and videos from the indoor AFW runway shows. View my gallery below – and I’ll be adding more in the coming weeks!
