Of course a wedding is all about the bride and groom and their family and friends coming together to celebrate them! Buuuuut a LOT of work goes into the details that can be often overlooked while you’re admiring the lovers — invitation calligraphy, floral arrangements, the exact color of the ribbons & accents, and so much more! So, here’s a post to the unsung heroes of weddings!

To create that perfect Alice in Wonderland tea party vibe with a touch of romantic vintage, get ready to mix and match! Lashell’s Event Decor // @lalshellseventdecor did an amazing job of bringing in classic china pieces like tea sets and fine china place settings and then sprinkling in the quirkier elements like birds nests & cages, paper butterflies, moss table runners, and brightly patterned napkins to keep the table less than formal.

It’s all in the details! As bride and groom, we also wore accessories that kept us at home and comfortable with the wedding day theme. So the bride (me!) had a blush pink ribbon as a belt and wore mint green shoes, and the groom wore a soft green shirt with a contrasting bowtie for character.
